Admission
We welcome children from our catchment area of Little Downham and Pymoor and the surrounding area, full details are on the admissions policy below. As a parent/carer you have a right to express a preference of school even if you do not live in the immediate area. If you are interested in your child attending Downham Feoffees Primary Academy, we would encourage you to visit or attend one of our open mornings.
To apply for a place in our Early Years Foundation Stage Reception class, parents and carers will need to go through the Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) admissions process, details of this can be found on the Cambridgeshire County Council website www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk .
For a place in any other year group, we recommend that parents and carers contact the school in the first instance so that we can liaise with Cambridgeshire County Council over the offer of any places. The school uses Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) to manage its appeals. CCC will prepare guidance for parents and relevant children about how the appeals process will work and a named contact who can answer any questions parents may have about the process. Appeal forms are available from the Cambridgeshire County Council website.
